Round one Motivation Monday 7th of January 2019 with Coach martin Gooden

Hey happy new-year to you, i hope you are all set up for the year and ready to put your very own Jig saw pieces into place, depending on what your focuses are for the new year and what your aspirations are. Go for it, go get what you think you deserve in mind and body.

Well it’s that time of year a lot of stupid ass dickheads come out of the woodwork, I am going to say this as it happens every single year and i guess it won’t stop just that the dickheads always reveal themselves to world.

Who the hell I am I calling, well the ones I call this are the ones that start posting all over their social media accounts every year in January for about the first two weeks

  • Oh these gym members are getting in my way
  • Oh these new gym members don’t know what they are doing
  • Oh these new gym members won’t last a month and will soon be gone
  • Oh a new member has stole my locker and my changing room seat
  • Oh a new member cannot even squat or lift much weight aren't they weak

I really could go on but i know you certainly get the drift of what I am saying, the “dickheads” thrive on others weaknesses, because they think they are better a new gym user.

But if you are reading this and where not born from your mother’s WOMB then stop reading my post, as you are not like the rest of us then are you....(normal)

And if you are a new gym member and are put off by these morons, then Don’t.

You see let me tell you something, these morons started somewhere don’t make them fool you.

They had the same start as you, the same lack of knowledge as you may currently have, so don’t make them fool you or intimidate you, or make you feel like something underneath your shoes. 

You do have the capacity to start a journey of great health and wellness, and if you are going to try a sport like boxing, you may have what it takes to be a champion even if it’s a champion of your own obstacles and remember that, as “Dickheads” don’t want to see you get out of the blocks and strive.

A few of my clients have become Personal trainers, Group exercise instructors and one a kettle-bell instructor NOT because I “Belittled” them, But encourage it. I personally take time out if I am training in my time to correct others I see, NOT for gain, but out of Professionalism and this is my nature for Boxing and things based around the gym or the sporting area, and yes I have gained clients from coming from a place of helping as opposed to public ridicule, which I may have done in the long past, but until when you sit down and listen to some clients stories and fears, you might get to understand why some find the gym or the media side of it very intimidating and just think Frigg this.
